The foundation of cardiology instruction in the medical school curriculum is Compulsory Module XII. This module covers the most important topics in cardiology, which are explored in greater depth as part of Compulsory Track III in collaboration with other internal medicine disciplines. In the dental school curriculum, cardiology is included in Compulsory Module ZPM X – Internal Medicine. For further specialization, students have access to specialized study modules led by the Cardiology Department, as well as elective courses (e.g., clinical cases in cardiology, ECG seminar, echocardiography in theory and practice), specialized research modules, and the “Cardiology Summer School.”
